Volunteer opportunity description

The first step to making a difference in the life of the kids we serve is to sign up for a Volunteer Orientation to learn all about who we are, what we do, why we do it and all the different ways that you can get involved!  Here's how:

A passion for literacy and a love of learning to bring to the at-risk youth of our Chicago neighborhoods!  

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to participate in a school or community program.

You do not need a dog to volunteer!  In fact, we need just as many volunteers in the classroom without dogs as we do with them!
