Volunteer opportunity description

Our Adult Basic Education and English as a Second Language programs are for adults seeking to improve their basic education or who are working to break down language barriers in the job market, daily living, and personal lives.  Volunteers may assist students during classes or group or individual tutoring sessions.

We are seeking tutors who can commit a minimum of two hours per week for three to four months.

All ABE and ESL tutors must be at least 18 years old and are subject to a background check. The ability to speak a language other than English is NOT required. Training will be provided.
